8 yr. old game designer Isabel duBarry is using Kickstarter to fund a project she created when she was 6 yrs. old called Tiger Stripes. In Tiger Stripes, each player is a tiger cub who over the course of the game grows up by earning his/her stripes. The stripes are earned by hunting food. But the tiger cubs also can go on quests for gems to bring back and score points. The game presents a nice family game with light strategy and some very cool, playful artwork.
Supporting a project like this encourages young people to pursue their dreams and make them a reality. Isabel is the daughter of Philip duBarry who happens to be a game designer with published games like: Revolution!, Courtier, Canalis, and Kingdom of Solomon. Isabel is pursuing her own path in game design and getting her game into the larger market. Please take the time to consider supporting this project.
